What TEXT IT sees
When you paste an email, screenshot, or note, that content is sent to our processing service so we can turn it into one clear thing to do. We use the content only to produce your result. We do not read it, keep it, or use it to train models by default.
What we keep
We retain the minimum needed to operate the service. Original pastes are held briefly (up to seven days) so results can be regenerated if something goes wrong, then deleted from our systems. Results you save on your device stay on your device.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your content or your identity to anyone.
- We do not use your content for advertising.
- We do not read individual pastes except to investigate a specific bug you report.
- We do not require an account to try TEXT IT.
Analytics
We collect a small amount of anonymous usage information — which features are used, how long results take to produce, whether the app crashes — so we can improve TEXT IT. This data cannot be used to identify you and is not tied to the content of your pastes.
Third parties
TEXT IT uses a language-model provider to process pastes. That provider is contractually prohibited from using your content to train models or for any purpose other than producing your result. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
TEXT IT is intended for adults managing communications on behalf of themselves or their family. It is not directed to children under 13.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@textit.online. If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws, those local rights apply and we will honor them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note it here. Small clarifications may be made without notice.
